“Sohn and McClure cannot be matched by anyone for their dedication to customer service, excellence, and hand engraving services. Due to my own forgetfulness and neglect, they had my daughters silver baby cup for 12 years and kept it safe and secure! To make a long story short when my daughter was born my father gave her a gorgeous silver baby cup in Dec 2004. After much deliberation on hand engraving, he took it to Sohn and McClure. None of us is living in Charleston, so I neglected to follow up with them. They were amazing and called multiple times. To my neglect, life happened and I totally forgot about it. Well after unpacking from a move December 2016, I realized I did not have her cup! I went to Sohn and McClure and made the odd inquiry for a cup that could have possibly been left there 12 years before. The staff was so lovely, they treated me with kindness and respect despite my odd request. They looked in their archives, where they still had my cup safely stored with the original paperwork from 12 years prior! During this time the store had even moved locations! I cannot say enough about the quality of this business and the high moral standards under which they operate. Many businesses would have discarded or sold the cup by this point, especially during a move! My hats off to them and their dedication to customer service and quality! And, the hand engraving is GORGEOUS. I would not trust anyone else!!”
